Ziel dieses Kurses ist es, ein Verständnis für den Gründungsprozess eines technologieorientierten Unternehmens zu entwickeln: von der Idee im Labor bis hin zum Markteintritt. Es wird vermittelt, wie potenzielle Anwendungen vielversprechender Technologien untersucht, Marktchancen identifiziert und priorisiert werden. Die konkreten Ideen, an denen dieses Wissen erlernt und erarbeitet wird, stammen aus der Forschungsarbeit des Hahn-Schickard-Instituts für Mikroaufbautechnik. Als Ergebnis soll das technologische Produkt mit einem überzeugenden Geschäftsmodell verbunden werden. Am Ende des Kurses steht ein „Pitch Deck“, um potenzielle Stakeholder vom Potenzial der Startup-Idee zu überzeugen.
This course provides an understanding of the entrepreneurial process to move an idea from the lab to the market. You will learn how to explore potential applications of promising technologies, to identify and prioritize market opportunities, and to prepare to launch innovation technology-based products in the market with a convincing business case. At the end of the course you will prepare a pitch deck to convince potential stakeholders on the potential of your startup idea. In this course, you will do all these activities in collaboration with researchers working in advanced technological solutions, you will learn as you complete the course activities, and gain experience as a member of the technology entrepreneurship team. Ideally, you will understand what it takes to operate as a spin-off from an established company or a new startup.
